The company offers top-quality services and products to their clients and they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager to join the team and lead their workshop operations in Hamilton.
Key responsibilities Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled technicians and apprentices.Ensure all air-conditioning and auto electrical systems are serviced and repaired to the highest standards.Maintain excellent customer relations, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary parts and tools.Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and customer details.In return 6 figure salary and benefits package - final pay will depend on experience but will range between $100,000 and $115,000 per annum.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A supportive and dynamic work environment.The opportunity to lead a skilled team in a reputable company.The role is full time, permanent offering at least a 40 hour work week.The role and the requirements A relevant automotive trade qualification.A minimum of 5 years in the auto electrical and air-conditioning industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.In-depth knowledge of auto electrical and air-conditioning systems.Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints and inquiries professionally.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Relevant industry certifications and licenses are preferred.How to apply Applications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome.
