While we are a small audit team locally, we are also part of a larger national team who work closely together combining our training and other development opportunities. We have a diverse client base, and as we are a licensed Audit Firm, we get opportunities and work that other small Firms may not. You will be expected to take ownership of your clients and be the first point of contact for them as you work through each audit, some of which are completed on our client's premises. We tend to work individually, or as a team depending on the Audit job size and complexity. We are a close team, working together to develop our technical knowledge by brainstorming different approaches and methodologies all while having a laugh.Our standard work week is 37.5 hours but during the busy times, we can sometimes work between 45 and 50 hours a week to meet deadlines. All extra hours are tracked through our time in lieu policy, which allows you to bank them and have an extra-long break over summer or have them paid out!About youWe like to set people up for success, so to get the most out of this role you will have:A comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and IPSAS reporting standardsAn inquisitive mind and a passion for understanding the detailWorking towards or a CA qualification and at least 2-3 years' experience working in a CA firmExperience working on a variety of industries and businessesA genuine interest in commerce and understanding how different businesses operateA focus on quality, efficiency, and professionalism
