Senior Auditor

Our Ngai Tahu Holdings business unit has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Auditor to support our internal audit and advisory services. This role involves delivering independent and objective assurance and advisory activities, enhancing the operations and internal controls within Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu group. You will play a key role in helping leaders fulfil their responsibilities in maintaining effective systems of internal control.
Plan and execute internal audit engagements.Monitor and ensure the resolution of findings and recommendations.Undertake special projects, ad-hoc reviews, and provide advice as needed.Maintain effective communication and engagement with business stakeholders and manage strategic relationships.At least 7 years of relevant auditing experience.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.Strong skills in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.Ability to manage multiple projects/engagements simultaneously.Certified Internal Auditor, Chartered Accountant, or other relevant certification.Competent with data analytics and continuous auditing techniques.Understanding of, or eagerness to learn Ngai Tahu values and culture. Opportunity to work within an organisation deeply rooted in its cultural values.Exposure to diverse projects and continuous professional development.Competitive compensation and benefits package, including life and health insurances.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Ngai Tahu Holdings (NTH), the investment arm of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, manages a diverse portfolio including commercial and development property, farming, seafood, honey, and tourism.
