Mo te turanga - About the role As a Senior Audit Manager in our Internal Audit team, you will manage audit projects of large scale or high complexity, in line with ANZ's annual audit plan, reviewing specific business areas and assessing the adequacy and appropriateness of the risk controls in place. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will have the opportunity to: Support assurance reviews across ANZ's New Zealand business. Manage the appropriate and timely assessment of the risks and controls across the Bank. Ensure the appropriate application of methodology is applied, considering different ways of providing assurance and consistency within portfolios. Including clear communication of assurance outcomes with stakeholders. Ensure audit work is responsive to the changing internal and external landscape. Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Good knowledge of the banking industry. Experience and understanding of risk management frameworks and principles, including operational risk and compliance, and delivery risk. Experience in leading audit projects, for medium to high complexity profile reviews. Experience auditing across complex environments. Experience in risk and control analysis of complex business areas and processes, including experience in designing and delivering effective assurance projects. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including strong negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
