Senior Associate | Litigation

About the Opportunity:

We are pleased to be working with our superb client based in Wellington CBD on an opportunity within their Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. We are looking for an experienced litigator ready for a step up. The litigation team is made up of around 10 solicitors at various stages of their career. The ideal candidate will also take an active part in mentoring more junior solicitors as well as work alongside the experienced Partners and mentors in the firm.

This firm offers high quality and complex litigation matters. The team works on a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters including, but not limited to, insurance litigation, commercial disputes, commercial mediations, body corporate disputes, civil litigation, professional negligence, health and safety and employment litigation, estate litigation and so on.

About You:

You are currently in an Associate or Senior Associate level position with 6+ years PQE. Experience in private practice law firms is required.
Broad and varied experience within litigation and dispute resolution.
Willingness to work with, and mentor, junior staff on the team.
Professional and reputable character.
Strong client services orientation.
Personable and confident in building long-lasting relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
