We are looking for a Senior Associate Geotechnical Engineer to make an impact by providing essential geotechnical engineering skills and industry knowledge for our dynamic Ground Engineering team. We have a strong and growing pipeline of multi-disciplinary projects and seek an individual who is not only adept at leading projects but also passionate about driving innovative solutions and contributing to the advancement of our field.In addition to your strong technical skills, we are looking for someone who can manage bid processes, win and deliver work, and take a proactive role in coaching, mentoring, and developing new and existing team members. You will be responsible for promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence in Geotechnical Engineering, and for ensuring that the team delivers high-quality work on time and on budget.As a leader, you will collaborate effectively with other members of the Ground Engineering and Transport engineering sections, as well as members of Buildings, Water, Power, and Consulting sections. You will also be familiar with the latest software applications and industry trends in your area of expertise. If you are ready to bring your expertise to a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we encourage you to apply and be a part of our exciting journey!Here's what you'll needTertiary Qualifications in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering or related field from Washington Accord institutions.Chartered Engineering Professional in New Zealand (CPEng Geotechnical).Strong potential to develop and lead a high performing team through effective communication, mentorship and decision-making skills.Sound experience in various areas of geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design and associated infrastructure projects (earthworks, foundations, retention systems, slope stability, geological modelling, material parameter development, consolidation and settlement).Demonstrable experience in seismic load application and earthquake engineering practice.Proven experience in planning, coordination and supervision of geotechnical investigations and technical reporting (factual and interpretive reports).Strong knowledge in preparing geotechnical designs and deliverables for transport, energy & power, water and general infrastructure projects.Ability to work with our clients and advise the best outcomes for their needs.Jacobs.
