Mainland is currently seeking a Senior Asset Manager to join its dynamic team and contribute to its continued success. With the establishment of new hotel, healthcare and self storage funds, Mainland has become a highly diversified real estate Funds Management business that is one of the most compelling firms of its type in New Zealand. The Senior Asset Manager position, reporting into the Head of Funds Management, will have responsibility for multiple fund platforms setting strategic business plans for a portfolio properties to ensure optimal revenue performance, value realisation and investor returns. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Establish and foster robust and lasting relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external to facilitate the implementation of strategic plans and deliver top-tier asset management services. Develop, drive, and implement the execution of a strategy that fosters sustainable and profitable performance across the asset portfolio. This involves pinpointing business initiatives and efficiencies and supporting their implementation to drive desired outcomes. Leading and supervising leasing agents as well as external property specialists, including facilities managers, accountants, and legal professionals. Accountable for the preparation and implementation of the asset's income and expenditure budgets, and continuous monitoring, reforecasting and viable management. Contributing to acquisition due diligence processes. Understanding of and the ability to create value and mitigate risk from an asset management perspective. Producing and presenting comprehensive reports for both internal stakeholders and external clients. Ensure that capital and operational projects align with the strategic goals of the asset(s) and are completed within the designated timeframe and budget constraints. You will require the following experience: A minimum of 7 years' experience in asset management with a property investment fund manager, either in New Zealand or internationally. Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification. Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical prowess, particularly in Excel for property investment and development analysis. An understanding of commercial property as an investment asset class. Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, fuelled by a passion and unwavering drive to generate value for investors. Proficiency in working independently with minimal supervision. Proven capability to cultivate and oversee new business opportunities. Exceptional written, presentation and verbal communication abilities.
