Senior Arts Fundraiser | The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi

Details of the offer

Senior Arts Fundraiser | The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi The Arts Foundation of New Zealand Te Tumu Toi o Aotearoa has been backing New Zealand artists since 2000. We have awarded more than 200 artists, and we also run the nation's only arts crowdfunding platform, Boosted. Over the last 24 years, we have been able to give $20 million back to artists directly, funded only by generous people all over the country. We are powered by people, for people and we believe that a thriving arts and creative sector is fundamental to having a better Aotearoa New Zealand. As the Foundation goes into its 25th year next year, there is an opportunity to be a part of the next exciting phase of this unique organisation. We are looking for someone to co-lead the fundraising for major giving and bequests for the Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi, and achieve this with some of the charity sector's most creative humans. This new opportunity can be shaped by the right individual; we are into radical transparency and are open to designing the role together. Our collective goal? Doubling our endowment to sustain the future of the Foundation — that annually awards the nation's most outstanding artists, also known as the Laureates, Springboards, and Icon Whakamana Hiranga. Innovation is important to us, so we want to sustain what we are doing — but look to the future for what the next 25 years could look like. You need to be agile, mobile, and keen to build relationships with people. Our work of relationship building spans multiple platforms, with lots of different people across communities; some might be well-versed in the arts and others less so. We need you to flex your skills and articulate yourself in person at events, in smaller one-to-one meetings, or over email and phone. Your care, authenticity, and exceptional communication skills mean you'll easily speak to the impact artists have in Aotearoa New Zealand, and why we should support them. If you're up for it, submit a brief expression of interest – include your CV and all the usual bits by the 31st October – spooky! While we've set the role as full-time on Seek, we're open to expressions of interest from part-time (min 3 days) to full-time; start date flexible. The preferred location is Tamaki Makaurau Auckland – there will be domestic travel as we are a national organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
