The role We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician or Architect with 5+ years NZ industry experience to join our project team. This role could be full-time or part-time, depending on the successful applicant's preference and skillset. You will be primarily taking projects from developed design into working drawings for consent submission and tendering. You will work alongside and with direction from the lead architect but will be the driving force behind each project's completion and must be capable of working independently. We are primarily an ArchiCAD practice, but currently have a significant project underway in Revit, so recent experience with both of these systems would be a strong advantage. Your skills and experience ArchiCAD and/or Revit skills at a high level of competency to prepare working drawings;Experience in residential and commercial Developed & Detailed Design documentation;Familiarity with, and the ability to apply the NZBC, NZS3604, & NZ Standards;Capability to prepare detailed specifications using Masterspec; An active and real interest in the environment and ESD; and,The ability to produce presentation images including renders and marketing materials using InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage, but not essential.
