Senior Architect

Y&Y Design is a fast-developing architectural service company based in Auckland. We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. You will play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering complex digital solutions. Job Title: Senior Architect Location: Auckland Type: Full Time Permanent Vacancies: 1 Hours: 30 hours per week guaranteed, maximum 40 hours per week Hourly wage: $32.00-$38.00/hour based on your skills Main Duties ·         Develop and compile map manuscripts using digital and graphical source material such as aerial photographs, survey documents, map records, statistics, and satellite imagery. ·         Prepare diagrams and illustrations to communicate design concepts. ·         Advising clients about the objective, design, size, materials, and costs associated with new buildings and alterations to existing buildings. ·         Undertake research and analysis for functional, spatial, safety and aesthetic requirements. ·         Ensure effective project delivery and maintain good relationships with clients by assisting and managing the whole project cycle. ·         Participate actively in on-site meetings.  ·         Provide analysis of data from an economic, legal, political, environmental and sociological view for affecting land use.  Requirements ·         Bachelor's degree qualification in a relevant discipline is a must. ·         3+ years of architecture work experience will be an advantage Skills & Knowledge ·         Excellent communication, organization and time management skills ·         Previous project management experience or experience overseeing all aspects of a project is an advantage ·         Proficient with Revit AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign  To register your interest, please apply here!
