This newly created role is focused on the design and development of solutions for enterprise-wide projects and delivery teams. As we enable our people to continue the amazing mahi of delivering what kiwis care about, operating around the clock working to keep New Zealanders connected.
The role offers technical leadership, the ability to utilise all your skills and capabilities and apply them to largescale projects and programmes of work. Contributing to design decisions and development patterns and practices.
The successful candidate for this role will work across our Data and Technology teams, and wider business, utilising strong relationship management skills to influence and provide practical technology solutions which enable our business to thrive. You will be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, getting into the action and getting the job done with fit for purpose solutions.
You will already have skills working with both .net and PostgreSQL - this is imperative. Alongside this you will be able to clearly articulate the following skills and experience:
Technical Delivery experience including developing proof of concepts, prototypes and future state solutions.Coding, testing, debugging, implementing and documenting complex solutions.Problem solving skills and ability to provide technical advice on complex problems.Quality assurance responsibilities, including development of solutions utilising appropriate patterns and practices.Relevant training in software engineering practices or equivalent on the job learning.Experience with Agile development methodologies.Technical writing skillsA full list of the required skills and experience is available to review in the Job Description via the NZ Post careers site.
