We're seeking a Senior AOD Practitioner for a dynamic team in Lower Hutt!About Us: We are a leading provider of services and interventions for individuals facing alcohol and other drug issues. Our extensive community and prison-based programs across New Zealand focus on fostering recovery and promoting healthier futures for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with clients to support their recovery journey.Conduct thorough assessments to identify unique client needs and challenges.Apply advanced clinical skills to develop treatment plans and deliver both individual and group interventions.Collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager to provide mentorship and guidance to team members.Adapt to working from various locations, including Wellington CBD and Kapiti, as needed.What We're Looking For:Strong ability to connect with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.Excellent oral and written communication skills, alongside solid computer literacy.Commitment to incorporating the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Maori in service delivery.Demonstrated experience in individual and group interventions.Innovative mindset and creativity to address the unique challenges faced by clients.Capability to work independently as well as part of a team, with effective leadership skills.What We Offer:Competitive salary package.Coverage for professional registration fees.Access to professional supervision.Support for ongoing professional development.Generous annual leave of 25 days.Qualifications Needed:Relevant qualification in AOD Counselling.Full DAPAANZ registration.At least 3 years of clinical experience in AOD and/or mental health settings.Current clean, full driver's license.Ability to obtain and maintain Ministry of Justice and Police clearances.Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.If you're passionate about driving positive change and are ready for a rewarding challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
