The Stress Testing team is responsible for delivering a multiyear stress testing programme. Stress tests assess the resilience of regulated entities, and the financial system, to severe but plausible shocks. Stress testing helps build understanding and the capability to monitor and manage risks to financial stability. We need to consider a broad range of risks - credit, insurance, climate, cyber, operational, liquidity, pandemic, seismic - to the financial system.You will be responsible for contributing to the implementation and delivery of our stress testing work programme. This includes contributing to scenario design, engagement with entities, in-depth desktop modelling and analysis, and drafting of technical but accessible reports.Some of your other responsibilities include:Preparing high quality written analysis on all matters relating to thematic review work programmesPresenting and communicating all work in an accessible manner for a variety of internal and external stakeholdersContributing to expert advice provided to senior decision makers and/or Reserve Bank committeesIdentifying and assessing credit and other risks to regulated entitiesContributing to the design, implementation and delivery of stress testsO pukenga - About youYou're a curious problem solver who enjoys working with a range of different stakeholders.
