This includes the production of high-quality intelligence products via the engagement and collection of information, including undertaking proactive environmental scanning for intelligence, undertaking analysis applying best practice analytical and assessment techniques, and assessing the likelihood and consequence of risk, threat and issues to the Regulatory Land Transport System. The position supports the work required to improve our risk-based regulatory processes and development of risk assessments against the dimensions of regulatory stewardship.In addition to this, our Senior Analyst will work with the Manager and Principal Analysts to develop our ways of working, supporting others to build their capability (particularly through leadership of Communities of Practice) and being a key point of coordination for information between RPI and other groups within Waka Kotahi, as well as other NZIC participants.We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment alongside the necessary key technical skills.
