We are seeking an experienced Analyst with knowledge of regulatory and legal obligations related to financial services.
You may be currently operating at a Senior Analyst level looking to make a move, or you may be a motivated Analyst keen to develop and grow further.
This 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover will be focused on reviewing the current and future state of existing obligations against the existing compliance framework to identify gaps due to legislative changes.
You will be responsible for assessing any new and changed legislation for impact to ASB and drive implementation of new Acts and legislative changes to Line 1 and impacted Business Units.

| What do I need to be successful? Your success in the role will be your ability to multi-task, strong planning and organisational skills; and strong knowledge of operational and compliance risk management and financial services regulation.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment relating to financial servicesAbility to assess and identify relevant regulatory compliance and operational risksExcellent skills in interpreting legislation and explaining its relevance and impact to businessSound skills in problem-solving, analytics and process knowledge/mapping, and effective communication skillsInquisitive mind to support Line 2's function of 'review and challenge'You will be valued for your ability to demonstrate judgment and decision-making capability and excellent stakeholder engagement skills, by being able to negotiate in tough situations and settle differences while gaining the trust of other parties.
