Add expected salary to your profile for insights As a key member of the LNG Market and Business Solutions Team, the incumbent will be required to work on commercial activities to support the growth of LNG Bunkering services. This involves managing existing contracts with the customers of the terminal, as well as planning, leading and executing investment / project evaluation, project structuring, financial modelling and funding requirements leading to fruition new infrastructure projects. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties: Support existing LNG Bunkering contracts with key accounts to maintain customer relationships, and resolve issues with contracts and commercial operations. Market and drive growth of terminal LNG Bunkering services. Build relationship with customers to establish new contracts and work with cross function team to conclude deals. Lead financial and commercial evaluation of deals and opportunities, including project financing, valuations, investments, etc. Commercial support of LNG Bunkering infrastructure projects from inception through various project development stages until award of EPC contract (FID), by working closely with Business Units to: Build, maintain and analyse robust financial models including assessing and challenging assumptions and data which underlie the model for the purpose of valuation, assessing financials and commercial viability, due diligence and financing. Prepare business case and analysis for presentation to Senior Management and Board on project financing matters and to recommend final investment decision. Support executing and closing of transactions, including deal structuring, negotiations of final documentations etc. Manage other activities as and when assigned by the reporting manager. WORK EXPERIENCES At least 5 years in Consulting or Business Development. Proficiency in financial modelling is a must. Background in tank storage, LNG, gas or shipping industries is strongly preferred. Strategic mindset, an ability to spot good business development opportunities and structure into a business proposal both from macro and micro perspectives. Strong written and presentation skills. Excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills and market research experience. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent. Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd (SLNG) was incorporated by the Energy Market Authority of Singapore in June 2009 to build, own and operate Singapore's very first open-access, multi-user LNG Terminal. This is a key national infrastructure that supports Singapore's energy diversification strategy and future economic development in the energy sector. With more than 95% of electricity in Singapore being generated using natural gas, the SLNG Terminal helps to enhance the country's energy security by enabling natural gas to be shipped to Singapore from anywhere in the world. It also serves as a platform to facilitate the development of new LNG-related businesses, thereby contributing to the growth of Singapore's energy industry and the creation of new job opportunities. The Terminal began commercial operations in May 2013 and its primary mandate is to provide Throughput Services for the domestic market. Beyond this, SLNG also offers ancillary services such as Vessel Cool-down, Storage & Reload, and LNG Truck Loading services. SLNG will continuously explore new LNG business opportunities as it pursues its vision to be a World-Class LNG Terminal Operator enabling the growth of the Energy Market and LNG Hub in Singapore.
