This position is crucial as it collaborates closely with architects, project managers, the Technology Delivery Team, and EIT personnel to thoroughly understand business and functional needs.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $85,000 and $102,000, depending on skills and experience.
This role is based at EIT | Te Pukenga's Taradale campus reporting to the Systems Delivery Manager and will be responsible for: Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues and Junior Developers and Developers to assist them in enhancing their capabilities and project work.
Work with project teams and business users to define solutions for technical development.
Utilise best practice models and demonstrate a working knowledge of the .NET development space with an emphasis on .NET web, SQL server, and Azure development.
Re-engineer software solutions.
Create high-quality analysis, design, and requirements specifications.
To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology.
Minimum of 5 years development experience in a .NET development environment.
Technical certification or relevant experience and portfolio of work in SQL, including completing performance tweaks to databases such as index tuning and the ability to write fast, effective SQL queries.
Experience with Agile planning, estimating, and team collaboration skills.
Proven experience in defining, documenting, and refining standard processes and procedures.
