We require someone who can provide expert, in-the-moment coaching, foster team-based empowerment and drive cultural change. This role will involve a consultative approach, emphasising team flow, alignment with Agile principles and engineering self-sufficiency.Our ideal candidate will be based in Auckland or Dunedin, however we are also open to candidates across NZ. This role will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to extend or move into a permanent role.What you will do Actively coach teams and leaders to adopt Agile principles and drive continuous improvement Support teams by observing meetings, identifying behaviours misaligned with Agile, and providing timely feedback Empower engineers to adopt some Ways of Working (WoW) responsibilities, ensuring efficient team operations Guide teams through impediment removal, facilitating their ability to deliver value autonomously Operate in a consultative and educational capacity, enhancing team productivity and collaboration Collaborate with leadership to align Agile transformation with business goals About you Proven experience as an Agile Coach with a track record of successful transformation in complex environments Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean and other Agile practices Ability to coach and mentor teams and individuals at all levels Expertise in enabling team flow and fostering self-organising teams Exceptional communication and observational skills, providing clear, actionable feedback Experienced in training individuals and teams on Agile practices and delivery Thrive on empowering teams and driving meaningful change Bring an agile mindset beyond just framework knowledge Coach teams in a human-centric, adaptive manner Equitable opportunities, growth, and development lie at the heart of how we work at EP.
