Te Haeata/The Opportunity Te Puna Aonui is seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor, Strategy, Investment & Performance to join a new multi-disciplinary and flexible team. Whilst there will be opportunities to work across these functions, this role will be primarily focused on understanding and shaping approaches to Family Violence and Sexual Violence investment across Te Puna Aonui agencies. A key requirement of this role will be supporting an annual investment and system reprioritisation process across Te Puna Aonui agencies.
You will work through strong relationships to influence others. You will produce and build support for, shared, collective investment advice to the Government and our Board. You'll be comfortable with complexity, be experienced in application of investment case methodology and analysis, and will operate proactively. You will be able to apply your skills to broad effect across the Te Puna Aonui Business Unit and agencies.

O pukenga/Skills and Experience Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.A minimum of 3 years public sector experience.Understanding of public sector funding arrangements, budget processes and expenditure.Proven experience in developing business cases and budget bids.Understanding and specific experience with developing investment logic, in line with best practice methodology.Supporting strategic development, including advice, strategy development, action plans and/or programme and project scoping.Sound planning and organisation, including the ability to prioritise activities and plan to deliver critical milestones.Proven experience in preparation of strategic advice, including Board papers, Ministerial briefings and Cabinet Papers and reporting and monitoring of critical activities.Strong stakeholder relationships and the ability to actively collaborate as part of teams to co-design priorities, strategic approaches and delivery within agreed time frames and quality standards.
