The successful applicant for this role will need tobe: able to convert strategic thinking into clear and compelling material fit for purpose and audience; and to advise on and actively support NEMA's internal and external engagement. Develop reporting to provide insights to contribute to achieving NEMA's strategy.
The purpose of the Business and Performance Unit/Te Wahanga Whakahaere Umanga is to lead work on the Agency's strategic direction, accountability requirements, organisational planning and performance, and provide general business support across the organisation. As part of the Strategic Enablement Group you will ensure our dynamic and fast-moving organisation is heading in the right direction, has a clear sense of purpose and builds transparency around how we add value.
As part of working within NEMA, there may be a requirement to respond to emergency activations in the event of a national emergency response. This may involve responding to events outside of normal working hours if an emergency response of national significance occurs.

The indicative salary range for this role is $107,101 - $119, 700 including Kiwisaver employer contributions.
