We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Senior Advisor - Strategic Asset Management Planning. As stewards of community assets, we aim to manage them effectively for the benefit of current and future generations.
We are a small team of five that guides and directs the management of councils $14b of assets. Working closely with the service units, you will support good asset management practice lifting the overall maturity of asset management across council.

Role
This key position plays a crucial role in supporting Asset Management projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Council. As a Senior Advisor, you will:
Engage with business units across Council and be dedicated to championing asset management excellence
Ensure Asset Management projects align with Council priorities and legislative requirements
Assist in the revision of Council's asset management system (policy, strategy, standard operating procedures, and frameworks), contributing to maturity assessments and related improvement programmes
Support the development of Long-Term and Annual Plans
About you | Ko Koe Tenei
Our Ideal Applicant Will Have
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in Asset management planning
At least five years' experience in a similar environment
A sound understanding of formal guidelines such as NAMS, IPWEA International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ideally, experience using asset management systems, including but not limited to SAP, GIS, RAMM, BIM, SCADA and Infonet
The ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with a focus on meeting timeframes and objectives
The ability to build rapport quickly and foster strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to establish visions and targets

Salary: $101,882 - $113,202
