Mo te tima / About our team The Safe, Strong Families and Communities (SSFC) team sits within the Community, Partnerships and Programmes business unit and delivers MSD's response to family violence, sexual violence and building financial capability across New Zealand.
The sexual violence team designs, delivers and procures sexual violence support services across New Zealand, with a focus on increasing the availability, accessibility and quality of these services.
In this role you will be part of an innovative team committed to improving access to sexual violence support services for individuals and whanau that have been affected by sexual violence.
We are after someone that is experienced, innovative and committed to this kaupapa.
Te ahuatunga a te turanga / About the role As a Senior Advisor your role will be focused on designing and implementing sexual violence services.
You will bring your strong writing and service design skills to deliver high quality advice and reports that support the development of sexual violence support services.
You will be part of a small dynamic team who work: across Government agencies (especially the Te Puna Aonui agencies) directly with non-government agencies, including those that deliver sexual violence support services with relevant Business Units and teams within MSD to ensure sexual violence support services are responsive to Maori to support the wider team culture Nga pukenga me nga wheako / Skills and experience To be successful in this role, you will: Possess strong writing skills Have service design and implementation experience Have a demonstrated ability of working collaboratively Be able to deliver and work to deadlines Be an innovative thinker that can provide practical solutions for complex issues We also value experience and knowledge in these areas: Relevant experience with non-government organisations, preferably in the sexual violence sector Experience working in the community with whanau Maori Budget Bid process knowledge Policy experience Knowledge of tikanga Maori approaches If this sounds like you, and you're ready to work alongside and enable our people to design their future and success then we want to hear from you.
