Senior Advisor Response Capability – Emergency Management TrainingLocation: Wellington – Fixed TermBe part of a team directly contributing to helping our communities in NZWellington based Fixed term/Secondment position until June 2025Salary range $114,663 - $127,404 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experienceShape the future of our emergency management and strengthen training that directly supports our ability to respond to complex emergencies across NZ.As part of our Service Delivery Design directorate, this position will actively support strategic objectives to enhance Fire and Emergency's emergency management training and capability development. Key duties involved will include working across the organisation to build supporting training programmes and frameworks aimed at our emergency management staff.Aligned with the organisation's Incident Command System, you will design an emergency management capability development framework and support development of training packages that integrate seamlessly with the broader emergency management system. This is a fixed term or secondment position until 30 June 2025.Ko tau na i tenei turanga - What you'll bring to the role:This role works across a wide range of stakeholders within our diverse organisation, so your excellent relationship building skills and strong ability to explain complex information to a wide audience will be key to your success. You will work with subject matter experts to ensure frameworks and training meet our organisations needs.
