Senior Advisor Regional Public Service - Resilience to Organised Crime in Communities Fixed Term Contract or Secondment Opportunity til the edof June 2025 Based in Napier About the role To assist Hawkes Bay with the implementation and development of Resilience to Organised Crime in Communities (ROCC), the Regional Public Service Commissioner East Coast is now advertising for a ROCC Senior Advisor. This role is fixed term until June 2025. What you'll be doing The role will specifically support one of our key priorities – Resilience to Organised Crime in Communities (ROCC). ROCC is a Cabinet mandated response to the harms and social drivers of organised crime in our communities. ROCC combats organised crime by combining social and economic intervention with targeted enforcement action. It recognises that organised crime is a barrier to wellbeing. ROCC takes a holistic approach to the problem by building a local network of support and applying social responses that complement enforcement activity and ensure a system-wide focus on long-term prevention. You will work closely with NZ Police who lead this kaupapa and engage collaboratively across external agencies, linking in where required to connect ROCC to the community. Your responsibilities will include: Providing capability support to the Hawkes Bay community looking to develop ROCC initiatives Support for existing and new ROCC initiatives Development of a needs analysis to identify what services and initiatives are currently being funded and available Work collaboratively with ROCC staff (ROCC Senior Advisor), the Regional Public Service team and other key stakeholders Work collaboratively across support agencies to help collate and share relevant data Provide administrative support associated with the Community Resilience and Whanau Support fund process, ROCC Steering Group meetings Where appropriate the advisor will work with the Regional Public Services Commissioner to enable Te Aorerekura implementation (action seven) as needed in the region Position Description Salary range: $113,424.00 - $137,740.00 How to apply To apply, click the 'Apply Now' button to upload your CV, cover letter and complete the online application form.
