Play a lead role providing secretariat and governance support to Local Advisory Committees.This is a new and exciting initiative for FENZ as we complete establishing Local Advisory Committees (LACs) across 16 regions across Aotearoa, each with unique needs. As a senior advisor supporting the LACs, you will be the key liaison between the LACs and Fire and Emergency. Developing and managing complex relationships and the flow of information and networking across multiple stakeholders, you'll be responsible for advising and providing end-to-end support to LACs, as well as providing governance and secretariat support.You'll be supporting LACs to develop and implement an annual work programme, engage effectively across a range of communities and key stakeholders, and provide strategic advice and reporting to the FENZ Board. Working alongside the Chairs and Deputy Chairs, you'll be instrumental in assisting LACs to meet their strategic goals and legislative mandate requirements.This is a fixed term position for one year.Ko tau na i tenei turanga - What you'll bring to the role:You will be an experienced Senior Advisor or an Advisor ready to step up. You may have experience providing secretariat support to a statutory committee or board.
