Senior Advisor (Instructional Design and Delivery) Senior Advisor (Instructional Design and Delivery) Type: PermanentHours: Full timeLocation: WellingtonBusiness Group: Te Waka Aukaha/Planning, Design and AssuranceBranch: Kawai ki te Iwi / Service Delivery and OperationsSalary: $84,484 - $113,465Kawai ki te Iwi | Service Delivery and Operations (SDO) is responsible for Identity and Passport Services, Births, Deaths and Marriages, Citizenship, Charities Services, Authentications, Translations, Digital Transformation and Community Operations - DIA's network of community development and funding.The Senior Advisor Insructional Design and Delivery (ID) supports the Kawai ki te Iwi, Service Delivery and Operations branch to achieve its strategic objectives by leading the delivery of learning initiatives, providing our people with learning interventions and ultimately helping kaimahi to make New Zealand better for New Zealanders.Our Business Capability team's mission is, to design, develop and deliver learning to support kaimahi through capability development which has a direct impact on performance. As Senior Advisor ID, you will apply your technical expertise to the development and delivery of learning as part of our work program and be focused on ensuring that we are doing this in a future focussed and flexible way. In this role you will work closely with the business to ensure the learning we introduce meets their changing needs and supports the effective delivery of services.To be successful in this role you will be driven to deliver, working within set timeframes but maintaining enthusiasm to go above and beyond to deliver meaningful and value-add learning initiatives that truly make a difference to our people. You'll be a self-starter, highly motivated, and won't shy away from different ideas or perspectives to showcase innovative ways of delivering learning. In addition, being a strong communicator and well-organised will help you navigate a busy role with multiple streams of work to deliver successful outcomes.Our tools such as the Learning Strategy, Branch Priorities and Learning Pathways will guide your mahi and help you to deliver on the requirements of the role.What you will bring to the role:Experience in the design and delivery of learning programmes, skilled in TNA, evaluation of learning and competency assessment methodologiesDemonstrated ability to deliver high quality advisory servicesAbility to effectively build and manage strong professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholdersSolid technical skills with a learning and practice focusExperience in navigating ambiguity and confidence in using your initiative when working with a range of complex and evolving informationWell-developed communication skills including the ability to persuade and influence to obtain optimal outcomesStrong sense of self-awarenessJoining our Business Capability team at this time offers the opportunity for fun, accomplishment, and professional growth.
