Senior Advisor, Business Continuity

Location: Wellington Central with WFH flexibility
Salary: Salary range dependent on skills and experience
Use your expertise to develop and contribute to our Business Continuity planning and maturity within a dynamic operational team.
A Senior Advisor Business Continuity will develop and deliver on a work programme to finalise the Business Continuity strategy and policy. You will engage across the organisation to ensure consistent approaches and promote the business continuity function to ensure essential services are identified and risks are mitigated.
About You: Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in business continuity management, disaster recovery and incident management concepts, strategies and solutions in a large-scale organisation. You will bring a positive attitude and a continuous improvement mindset. This dynamic role requires flexibility, resilience, and excellent communication and engagement skills. You will have demonstrated experience working in a large complex organisation; it would be advantageous to have experience working in the emergency sector.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have: In depth Business Continuity Planning knowledge and expertise
Proven experience in leading and facilitating the development and testing of Business Continuity activities
Strong experience developing and implementing strategies and workplans
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiating and networking skills
A relevant qualification or equivalent experience
