Senior Adviser - Long Term Planning and Investment at Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Wellington Te turanga - The role Reporting to the Manager, Delivery Capability, the Senior Adviser will work as part of a wider team that facilitates and supports development, implementation and maintenance of the organisation's strategy, work prioritisation, portfolio management, investment planning, and performance frameworks. You will play a key role in the development of a long-term investment pipeline, which will play a key part in setting the strategic direction for Te Putea Matua. This is two-year secondment or fixed term opportunity. As Senior Adviser, Long-term Planning and Investment, your responsibilities will include: Lead investment planning within the wider team and working with leaders to set the strategy, plan and measure performance at enterprise level. Embed maintain and champion Te Putea Matua's strategic planning framework and delivery of our five-year funding agreements. Establish and maintain an asset management framework and register which identifies the lifecycle of our physical, digital and other assets. Build a model with allows us to clearly identify build costs related to critical projects, ongoing operational costs, including benefits management. Establish a prioritisation framework, which allows us to effectively prioritise and de-prioritise activities as part of our annual planning cycle. Provide technical advice and support to Te Putea Matua's leadership teams. O pukenga - About you To be successful in one of these roles you'll have: Experience in a planning, investment oversight, or strategy role in the financial sector, government or relevant public sector organisation. Proficiency in management accountancy and a firm understanding of best practice in long-term investment management, asset management and modelling. A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably economics, finance, public policy, business or enterprise delivery. An ability to provide high-quality analysis and report on financial and non-financial performance.
