The role/Te mahi
We are looking for an experienced and capable professional to provide high quality support to the Director Human Resources. As Senior Adviser HR Strategy and Projects you will oversee projects, provide research and analysis of HR data and provide other specialist advice. A key part of the role will be supporting the rollout of the People Domain of Pae Tata, our Strategic Plan to 2030.
This role involves engaging across all parts of the University, in particular with the Human Resources Division, Strategy, Analytics and Reporting Office and with external stakeholders to manage, coordinate or advise on particular projects (including ad hoc), programmes or committees at the request of the Director.
You will have the support of a comprehensive HR infrastructure, and colleagues both within the HR Divisional Office team and across the wider Human Resources Division.

You will also have:
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Considerable experience in strategic and operational planning.
• High level of research and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work with competing demands.
• Demonstrated capability to analyse risk, take the initiative and work autonomously to prepare solutions for consideration.

This is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position, based in Dunedin.
The appointment range for this position is $94,974 to $103,056 (top of range is $111,137) per annum.
