The position plays a key role in supporting a multi-disciplinary team who support rangatahi living in a secure residential facility.Excellent communication and organisation skills are crucial to this role.
You'll also need to be flexible and have the ability to build strong relationships across the team both onsite and across the wider organisation.The Senior Administrator is responsible for the office admin needs of the residential facility, so you will need to be comfortable working with Microsoft Office suite.
The role also supports the management of contractors and assists the operational leaders with tasks relating to recruitment and payroll.Skills and experience: you will be a well-organised and efficient Administrator excited about making a difference for rangatahi.
To undertake this role, you will have previous experience in an administrative role (ideally in the not-for-profit sector).Proven planning and organisation skills.A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.Great communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience in the coordination and management of contractors.Confidence using Microsoft Office products, including Excel.Why choose Barnardos: be at the forefront of trauma-responsive youth care in New Zealand, contributing to groundbreaking programs.
