Precinct is an NZX listed company which owns premium grade office assets and proudly opened Commerical Bay Shopping centre in 2020.The RoleReporting to the Accounting Manager, you will lead the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for completing all of Accounts Payable for the company (and subsidiaries), including but not limited to;Scanning of all invoices into system and ensuring these files are current and well maintainedEnsuring all relevant invoices are coded correctly, including capex invoices, and process invoice reallocations where requiredEnsuring any invoices on hold are being remediedSet up and maintenance of vendors checking that all forms and supporting documentation is complete and valid and all details are up to date and complete in systemYou will also be responsible for management of staff including:Motivating team members to perform at a high levelSetting team goals, creating and managing team and individual deadlinesMonitoring team performance and reporting on metricsDiscovering training needs and providing coachingAbout YouYou will ideally have:A minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience in a similar role and experience working with a high volume of invoices.The ability to plan, prioritise and schedule workload commitments to meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability to trouble shoot and communicate issues and concerns immediatelyLogical and analytical thought processesIf this sounds like you please click on Apply Now and attach a copy of your CV and Cover Letter.
