Additionally, as a senior member of the Finance team, you will mentor and provide guidance to the rest of the team, support strategic financial planning and decision-making, and help the organisation make informed business decisions. To do this, you will perform the following tasks:Manage month-end and year-end accounting tasks and workpapers for multiple entities.Provide timely and accurate reports including project reports, analysis of budgets, financial trends, and ongoing forecasts.Provide strategic financial advice and analysis in relation to proposed programmes, projects, and initiatives.Guide and coach members of the finance team to build capability and services, including mentoring team members.Review and support the performance of transactional tasks and tax compliance.Assist in the delivery of the 2024/2025 finance system improvement programme.About YouThe client is ideally looking for someone who has just finished their CA program and has a few years of commercial experience, ready to step up in complexity, size, and scope of their role. You will likely have a foundation in a Big 4 or Second Tier firm, either in BAS, Audit, or Tax. Having some Tax knowledge would be considered desirable! Beyond this, the client is ideally also looking for the following attributes:Demonstrable analytical skills and experience.Comfort within a complex and often ambiguous environment.Pride in your ability to inspire and motivate others, and a keen interest in developing those skills.Results-driven with a commercial approach to your work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Personality!
