In order to support that growth, we have created a role for a competent Senior Accountant to join our Invercargill based Head Office team.Working closely with and reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, this role is integral to our future growth with a strong focus on process improvements and includes working in collaboration with Team Leaders and Managers to create great long-term outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Budgeting and forecastingMonth end consolidation workManagement reportingInternal Control implementation and oversightProcess improvement and documentation – reviewing all finance and administration processesPurchasing oversightLeading a small team of finance and purchasing staffSpecial projects as requiredAbout you:You will have 4 + years' experience as a Senior Accountant and hold a CA/CPA qualification, with some solid experience in a professional services environment and experience either conducting external audits or of being audited by external auditors.You will be technically competent in transactional accounting detail and audit and have a real passion for making a difference.And you will be passionate about using your practical accounting expertise to positively contribute to a team with an ambitious growth plan.You will also have:good commercial acumen and know how to identify business riskssound systems knowledge of a large ERP system such as NetSuiteexperience leading, developing and managing a small team to implement changes and achieve resultsgood working knowledge of IRD tax requirementsWhat's in it for you?An excellent working environment where you're surrounded by committed and talented people who strive to achieve our shared goals.
