REED are working in partnership with a top 30 Accountancy Practice based in Christchurch to appoint a Senior Accountant to join the team. Senior Accountant (ACA / ACCA Qualified) Full Time - Hybrid working, Flexible working Car Parking permit Salary - Dependant on experience - up to £45,000 per annum Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will include: Preparing accounts and related tax computations for limited companies, partnerships, sole-traders, LLPs and charitiesWorking closely with clients, other members of the accounts team and other departments, including direct contact with the Partners, managers and clients in order to obtain the required information to prepare their accountsDelivering excellent client serviceReviewing and managing accounts workManaging and prioritising internal workflow and assignments to deadlinesAssisting with driving technological solutions in accounting throughout the officeVAT returnsAssisting with ad-hoc client supportSupporting the growth of the Christchurch office Requirement Our client is looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience: ACA/ACCA qualifiedMinimum of 3 years' relevant experience working within an accountancy practiceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and OutlookPrevious experience of CCH, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage would be advantageousGreat attention to detail along with strong organisational skillsPro-active and positive attitude, Xero certified The Package: A generous remuneration package includes:Competitive market rate salaryPension schemeLife assurance23 days annual leave (exc BH) – increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 daysMonday to Friday – 36.25 hours per weekHybrid working between office and homeOpportunity to purchase additional holiday daysAccess to our corporate reward schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOpportunity to develop your skills and progress within the FirmRelaxed and friendly working environment
