Senior Accountant - Fixed Term Contract

This organisation located in central Auckland is a well known facilities/property management company.
Due to internal requirements they are seeking a versatile Senior Accountant to be part of their accounts team for 6-9 months.
About the role
This is a vital role for the organisation, would suit someone who is strategic and highly analytical .
The role reports to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the effective financial control andevaluatingcommercial opportunities to increase yield and improve business.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the day-to-day financial operations
Providing commercial acumenand support across all business units
Ensuringaccurate and timely preparation of financial and management reporting
Ensuring the company meets all compliance, tax, and other statutory requirements
About you:
Previous senior financial accountingexperience within a large commercial environment – ideally 5+ years
CA qualified or equivalent - a must
Exceptional numerical, analytical, Power BI and advanced Excel skills
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience working within facility management or property would be advantageous, although not essential
