About the roleWe're hiring a Senior Account Manager to join our team and are looking for our next 'Designworker' to bring the energy and spark to make big things happen.As part of our talent and committed client service team, you will work together to deliver best-in-class design for our clients and each other.
You'll be an excellent communicator and strong team player, working on high-profile accounts within a multi-disciplinary team.
You'll demonstrate your ability to forge strong partnerships with your clients as well as internally as a trusted advisor across a variety of brand identity projects.These roles are varied from small to large-scale strategic, integrated brand identity work and you'll hit the ground running from day one with responsibility for an interesting and diverse set of clients.Your primary areas of responsibilities are client relationship planning and management, project direction and management, commercial and financial management of assigned clients and internal resource planning and management.
Key responsibilities Foster and maintain client relationships that build trust and respectBecome the internal face and 'knowledge bank' for your clients and know as much about them as they do themselves to be their trusted partnerBe the 'do-er 'in the team, the communicator of detail, including setup up of client sessions, the running WIPs, booking meetings, navigating creative timelines to ensure projects are well set up and managed throughoutMine opportunities with your internal senior client leads to drive growth of clientsProvide brand guardianship - represent the client and exercise sound judgment at key internal and client reviews to ensure high standard strategic and creative outputsHarness the internal strategic capability to deliver updates and insights to clientsBe heavily involved in setting and monitoring the project plan for the projects you work onHelp the wider team achieve the brief on time and within budget, but not at the expense of process or quality.Keep on top of the costs, timings and progress of each job and raise early if not on trackRetain an understanding of objectives of the project, processes required to meet objectives, timeframes and budget parameters, deliverables and estimatesLiaise and work closely with other departments including strategy, design and studio teams throughout projectsAssist in collation of financial information and ensuring financial systems are up to date on all projects you work onParticipate in any brainstorming sessions where possible to learn more about the business and grow as a 'Designworker'Be available for mentoring or training sessions because these sessions help you grow in the role Required skills and experience 5 years+ in a brand or agency environmentRelationship master – ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally at all levelsHigh situational awareness and emotional intelligenceProven track record of growing and retaining accountsBroad client category experience, managing a range of projects – from small to large scale strategic, integrated brand experience workA strong interest in keeping up to date with people, our clients' businesses and the broader Aotearoa New Zealand marketing sectorAn interest in trends, including technology, design and marketing and how they can affect our clients offeringExperience dealing with clients and brands that have multiple stakeholders, customer segments and marketsA communication style that is optimistic, authentic, collaborative, open and responsiveStrong organisation skills – you are planned, methodical and responsiveProblem solver – your optimistic energy and thinking skills enables you to spot problems and solve quicklyAnalytical – you are able to interpret information and translate it to a simple formatProven commercial and financial acumen – with attention to detail and the ability to see the big picturePassion and love for brand thinking, creativity and customer experience designTeam player with a sense of humour What we offer you Central city open plan, architecturally designed officeA flexible hybrid working environment to make sure work is working for youThe latest Apple technology to get the job done Barista quality coffee machine to fuel your caffeine fix and master your coffee art skillsThe kitchen is stocked with endless snacks, and we enjoy breakfast together every WednesdayWe have many cultural rituals throughout the week to keep the vibes high, you can also join our social club for more eventsConfidential counselling support via EAP if personal or professional life throws you a curveball Ready for a new challenge?
