Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Are you committed to providing exceptional support for diverse learners? We need a learning support coordinator at our wonderfully dynamic intermediate school in Northcross. The position is part-time (0.6) and fixed-term for 2025. The LSC will work within the Inclusive Learning team. We are looking for someone with experience in a specialised inclusive role.
The role includes:
Creating Collaborative Action Plans (CAPs) with students, whanau, teachers, and external agencies.
Classroom observations of students.
Support to implement personalised learning programmes alongside teachers and learning mentors.
Facilitate small group interventions.
Key skills and competencies:

Knowledge of NZ education system and learning support frameworks.
Qualifications and experience:
Fully registered teacher with teaching experience.
Experience in learning support or special education.
