About the Role:
As a SEMH Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs within the school in Christchurch. You will deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student, fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. With your expertise in SEN education, you will empower students to reach their full potential and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SENProvide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal developmentCollaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SENMaintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to dateFoster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaborationRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN educationPrevious experience of working in a SEN school settingStrong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting studentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carersDedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education
