About us

Kiwi Security NZ Ltd is a New Zealand owned and operated, top security company in based in Auckland. We specialise in alarm installations, monitoring CCTV installations ,Access Control and Intercom Services for commercial and residential properties.

About the role:

Key responsibilities are as the following:

 


Programming and testing Access Control systems intercoms,CCTV and alarm system panel


Leading the commissioning process for newly installed security system including configuring system settings, perform calibration procedures, and conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation


Maintaining repairing and programming and installing Hikvision Dahua Honeywell and Uniview CCTV systems


Completing cable runs for security solutions including network cables and security cables as well as conduit cable


Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues with security system efficiently, including analysing problems reported by users or detected through system monitoring tools (Troubleshooting)


Advising users of the standard operating procedures to prevent malfunctions


Receiving messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing messages for transmission


Maintaining high work standards and no compromise with quality work



To succeed in this role you will require the following:



a certificate or higher qualification, preferably in Technology or Electronic or IT or Computing or Engineering

Exceptional customer service orientation

Basic knowledge on industry rules Health and Safety regulatory standards


Computer literate and attention to details

• Self-motivated and able to deliver jobs to deadlines
• A team player who is also able to work autonomously
• Be available for after hours / emergency callouts as required
