Job Description About the Role: The Global Security team is dedicated to protecting all assets with a major focus on our most meaningful asset - our people. The team supports this mission by using a data-driven and risk-based approach to support Security Operations, and design process to keep our Client safe.
As the Security Specialist Australia and New Zealand you will:
Be responsible for the security of the people, properties and assets throughout the region. Work multi-functionally with local business partners to execute globally focused projects Be responsible for the development and execution of al security processes and programs in the region Work closely with the Regional Security Manager Identify, assess and call out near-term threats that may post a risk to staff, assets and operations across APAC Ensure senior management receives meaningful information to assist them make quick, well-informed decisions during major events Coordinate security operations for all locations and staff in cities in Australia and New Zealand Coordinate response and incident management to address threats towards company staff, assets and operations Educate stakeholders in security principles and implementation Implement the physical security strategy in the region in alignment with business goals implement processes and metrics - use data to make decisions maintain a positive relationship and effective communication across all regional business sector peers develop security awareness and education programs and materials Desired Skills and Experience To join us, you will have: Excellent written and oral English skills (mandatory)5+ years' experience in a security operations or management role Recent hands-on experience throughout the region (mandatory) Creative 'can do' attitude towards problem-solving Attention to detail in both written and oral communication Ability to handle security challenges in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment Comfortable with ambiguity Able to cale with the business and thrive in a rapid growth environment Experience managing contract security services A well-established professional network of security contacts within the region Capable of fostering a culture of trust, honesty and integrity Travel required as needed Bachelor's degree, military or law enforcement experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
