In this permanent part-time role, you will play an important part in the security of the port, being the first point of contact for both customers and other port users such as logistics companies. This includes all those involved in inward and outward goods movements, as well as local and international shipping.Your responsibilities include:All entry and surveillance on site while situated at the main entrance gate.Carrying out inspections, providing shuttle services, and patrolling the site.Acting as the communication link to ships while they are in port.About youYou might come from a security or police force background, or a similar profession looking for a career change. You could come from a wide range of related sectors requiring a high level of customer focus and a willingness to go above and beyond.Your goal will always be to offer the very best service to your team, customers, and port users.
