The team - Te tima New Zealand Parliament is seeking a dynamic and experienced Security Lead specializing in Training and Quality Assurance to join our team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the safety and security of one of the nation's most important institutions.
About the role - Mo te tunga As the Security Lead for Training and Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security training programs and quality assurance processes for our parliamentary security team.
Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of security at Parliament.
* Design and deliver security training programs for new and existing staff * Conduct regular quality assurance audits of security procedures and personnel * Develop and update security policies and standard operating procedures * Liaise with other government agencies on security matters * Manage and analyse security incident reports to improve processes * Oversee the implementation of new security technologies and practices What you will bring to the role - To kete: * Must be able to be cleared for and retain a SECRET level National Security Clearance (NSC).
Check your eligibility here * Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience * A strong background in physical security systems, processes and procedures e.g.

The starting salary range for this role is $93,167 - $102,863 per annum.
Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
