About the Opportunity An opportunity is now available for experienced Security Guards - Retail Shopping Centres to join the Statewide Quality Services team. We have roles available in the East Tamaki, Manukau & Mount Maunganui areas. The successful candidate's will provide guarding services to our retail partners who manage prestigious Shopping Centres. This position would ideally suit someone who enjoys working a variety of shifts and weekends.
Statewide provides uniforms, full induction and ongoing support and training.
About the role We are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated and passionate individuals to join our team in the various seasonal, Part Time Security Officer positions. These roles will commence in November and run to the end of January 2025 or as required.
Job tasks and responsibilities The Security / Patrol Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers & patrons whilst providing a strong security presence.
Skills and experience To Be Successful in this role; you will possess the following;
• Current New Zealand Security License
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Passion for delivering professional and efficient customer service
• Perm & ad hoc availability
• Documentation skills for incident reports, checklists, & patrols tours
• Ability to respond to service complaints and resolve matters effectively
