About the Company A large international company that designs, develops and manufactures innovative technology in the electrical industry that is used every day across NZ and Australia, working in an in-house team environment. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and social team in Wellington. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer that has a strong focus on Security. This role requires someone who is able and willing to lead Security best practice, while making recommendations for profile set up in Azure, as well as being hands-on in implementation. Day to Day Responsibilities Setting up Azure profiles, making security recommendations and leading security practices and principles. Working alongside the DevOps and Cloud operations team, based across NZ and Australia. Working with vendors to identify, recommend and implement security solutions. Skills & Experience Required The ideal candidate will come from a Cloud/DevOps background, who has been focussed on Security for the past 2 – 3 years. Ideally from a software or infrastructure background, at a senior level prior. Hands-on Security Engineering experience. Experience working with ISO Framework, and/or other security frameworks. Holds an AZ-500 certificate and AZ-104. Experience working with Azure cloud optimization projects. Infrastructure-as-code and deployment tools, such as Terraform/Ansible/Azure DevOps/Octopus Deploy.
