We are currently looking for experienced security person/s to join our team on a permanent full or part-time basis.
Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring our customers feel valued and welcomed by greeting/farewelling as they enter or leave the storeMonitoring the site for any potential shoplifting, theft or other illegal activityProviding a presence of security for our team and customersReporting any potential security incidents to the Duty ManagerDaily incident reportsBuilding and maintaining relationships with the team and customers Assisting the team with medical emergencies (provide first aid - when trained)Liaise with emergency services when necessary Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is a family owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer-every time.

Experience in Retail, loss prevention or security is a mustDemonstrable understanding of customer service excellenceA COA Security License is advantageous, otherwise we will assist you to obtain thisAble to take directives on board from Retail ManagersMust be professional, reliable, confident & honest.Strong focus on delivering high quality security-solutions.High standards and pride in your appearance to represent your company.Excellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detailPhysical fitness - able to walk and stand for long periods of timeWhat's in it for you?
