The successful candidate will provide executive-level guidance on network security matters, including risk assessments, threat intelligence, and incident response. You will also be responsible for implementing comprehensive NZISM compliant network security policies, standards, and procedures.What you'll do:Lead the design and implementation of advanced and scalable network security solutions.Work collaboratively to integrate network security outcomes into the overall enterprise architecture.Provide executive-level guidance on network security matters.Conduct risk assessments, threat intelligence analysis, and incident response.Implement comprehensive NZISM compliant network security policies, standards, and procedures.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks.Lead the implementation of network security technologies and vulnerability management solutions.What you bring:Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCIE, Microsoft Azure/defender or equivalent.Demonstrable understanding of NZISM.Familiarity with the NZ Protective Security Requirement (PSR).Familiarity with NZ Security Classification System.Experience in a network, infrastructure, firewalls, IAM, vulnerability management, application and cloud security leadership role.Experience and deep knowledge of secure architecture, offensive security, threat hunting protocols, digital forensics, and secure coding practices.Strong understanding of Operational Technologies.What sets this company apart:Our client is a leading organisation with a commitment to excellence and innovation.
