Here, you will work alongside like-minded experts, applying your skills and knowledge to create meaningful impact.Workstream ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with MSD and vendor solution architects to ensure security-by-design including:Adherence to MSD technology security strategy and policiesCompliance to MSD and industry security standardsDevelopment of fit-for-purpose security architecture, design and controlsProviding design input and conducting design reviewsAssist project teams navigate MSD's security governance processes including providing necessary inputs for MSD Certification and Accreditation processSupport the teams in identifying and unblocking any technical security dependenciesPractice ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and evolution of the security enterprise architecture strategy and roadmapContribute to development and evolution of security architecture guardrails, processes, standards and patternsEngage with system and service owners to prioritise security architecture initiatives in their roadmaps to execute MSD's security enterprise architecture strategyEngage with Solution Architects during design and implementation to ensure that the security architecture roadmap capabilities are being delivered successfullyCoach and support team members and community of practice to foster the development of effective security practicesFoster and promote strong organisational security cultureMinimum RequirementsProven experience as a Security Architect, Senior Security Engineer, or in a similar senior role within large and complex organisationsDemonstrated ability to translate strategic goals and roadmaps into actionable architecture requirements and designsPractical understanding of designing security control solutions across all architecture domains including Application, Data, Technology and Integration, with expertise in at least one areaBroad and deep understanding of various security domains, including cloud security, identity and access management, networking and infrastructure, data protection, platforms, applications, DevSecOps and integrationIn-depth knowledge of modern security services and technologies such as endpoint security, boundary security, email security, PKI, MDM, MAM, SSO/Federation and SIEMAdvanced understanding of cloud technologies and platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365Solid understanding of current cyber security principles, standards and frameworks including NZISM, PSR, NIST, ISO 27001, ACSC Essential Eight and CertNZ Top Ten controlsTertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, supported by technical qualifications and certifications in ICT security and architectureSalary range: $161,762.00 - $200,840.00If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!To apply, click the 'Apply Now' button to upload your CV, cover letter and complete the online application form.
