Full time Clinical Cardiac Physiology- Team Lead
As a Team Leader you will be expected to develop the service and workforce, providing education, supervision and mentorship to all trainee positions, new graduates and upskilling our existing workforce in new techniques and pacing. You will work with the Clinical Nurse Manager in operational aspects of the role to develop quality assurance framework equipment maintenance and assist with technical aspects of your role. You will work with the Cardiac Sonography Professional lead in professional development of workforce and service. You will have up to 0.2FTE assigned to non-clinical workload.
Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Cardiac Physiologist Team Lead to work in our Cardiology and Respiratory Department at Taranaki Base and Hawera Hospital. You would be working as part of a dynamic team. The department offers:
Pacemaker follow up (ICD/CRT/Brady)
ILR implantation and follow up
Diagnostic Coronary Angiography
Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring
Exercise Treadmill testing
Lung Function testing (This is not a core responsibility, however may be called upon to assist)
Mou - About you
The successful candidate will require to be:
Must have membership with the SCT (The Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology NZ)
Ideally in the process of attaining an APC with the CPRB (Clinical Physiologists Registration Board)
Accredited IBHRE/ HR UK.
Proven management and leadership skills and experience. If you have a positive outlook, well-developed oral communication skills and enjoy working with people we would welcome your application.
