```html Business Manager - Timaru Boys' High School Timaru Boys' High School is a school of over 750 students and 70 teaching and support staff.
It has an on-site boarding hostel of approx 125 boarders and 26 staff.
It also has a very successful international student programme.
The Business Manager is a key member of the school community, holding responsibility for the management of financial and human resource functions in the school and hostel.
The Business Manager ensures compliance with all relevant legislation, Board policies, and school and boarding hostel procedures within their responsibilities.
The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Key Attributes for this Role Include: Comprehensive accounting experience at a senior level, including preparation of budgets, monthly variance reporting, asset management, and audit processes (tertiary qualification preferable).
Knowledge of employment legislation and payroll processes.
Business acumen.
Strategic thinking.
Excellent oral & written communication skills.
Excellent organisation & interpersonal skills.
Competence and experience in the use of technology and a variety of software, including Xero.
This role is a permanent, full-time position, including school holidays.
