Seasonal Team Members - Halal Slaughterers Assembly & Process Work (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Our 2024 – 2025 season is kicking off at our Lorneville Plant. We are looking for highly skills Halal Slaughterers to join the team.
Our Halal Slaughterers are highly valued members of our team, who play critical roles within out plant. At Alliance we understand the importance of producing quality, certified halal meat for our customers both locally and across the world.

Performs the humane slaughter of Sheep, Lamb, and bobby calves in compliance with the principles of Shariah in the production and certification of halal meat products.
Complies with all safe food handling, hygiene, and sterilization procedures.

Earn a guaranteed minimum of $29.66 per hour across a day, plus allowances.
Earn up to a maximum of $37.29 per hour across a day, exclusive of overtime.
Up to 7 months of full-time seasonal employment

Day and Afternoon Shifts available
Ideally, you will be a qualified and registered Halal Slaughterer, although full training is and can be provided.
You will be a practicing Muslim and a member of an Islamic Society in NZ
Eligibility to live and work in NZ.
You will pass a pre-employment drug test and medical assessment.
You are willing and able to follow and respect workplace health and safety.
You enjoy working within a team environment.
You are physically fit, committed, and reliable.
